we have a vision

Utilising our years of development in automotive optics and microchip manufacturing, we have a vision to revolutionise cycling lighting. We believe that lights should be smarter, more efficient and provide greater reassurance to the cyclist.

Re-inventing optics

For 10 years, our sister company Broalux Labs, has been revolutionising lens and optic technology, manufacturing and precision. Following successes in the fields of microchip production and automotive optics, we’ve channelled this experience and expertise into creating a new vision for cycling lighting.

our principles

The guiding lights that underpin how we design, create and promote our products.

Simplicity

Simplicity isn’t about doing less — it’s about achieving clarity. Every curve, surface, and detail is refined until only what’s essential remains. We believe a product should communicate without explanation, feel instinctive in use, and disappear once it becomes part of your rhythm.

Intelligence

Intelligence means thoughtfulness in design. Every innovation begins with understanding how people ride, how they see, and how technology can quietly enhance that experience. Our products anticipate and adapt, making complexity feel effortless. Intelligent design balances logic with emotion, precision with instinct. It’s about knowing when to add and when to stop.

Performance

Our products combine power and elegance — engineered to perform beautifully in real conditions, not just in theory. We believe performance should feel effortless, intuitive, and reliable.Every decision, from optics to materials, is tested and refined to balance strength, endurance, and simplicity. Beauty and efficiency coexist; design itself becomes performance.

Designed in California

ILLI has been created by some of the finest designers, engineers and technicians in the field of optics and illumination. With our design hub located in San Jose, California we have the ability to design, prototype and test our products on some of the world’s most stunning cycling routes.
